Another slice of paradise, Ibiza

Since the Mediterranean island Ibiza (or Eivissa in the local Catalan) is just a short and cheap flight away from Madrid, we went for a quick trip. I have to say, it surpassed our expectations -- we were fearful it would be overrun with immature partiers, but, at least slightly off-season, was actually a pretty tranquil place with respectful adults. It's definitely not only about dance clubs here, the town is nice and you can easily pass all day on the beach. In addition, the ancient Ibiza Castle is fun to learn more about the island's history and easy to walk to, and offers amazing views. We also saw a lot of dogs which always makes us happy!

Of course we did have to check out the famous nightlife, and Pacha mostly lived up to its reputation as one of the best in the world. Expensive, for sure, but the decorations and performances were the best I've seen.

That said, all the amazing places we've seen on our trip have definitely convinced us of just how much we enjoy San Francisco! We miss you! We're now returning to South America and have 8 more flights out of a total of 24 to get back to SFO. See you soon!
